Jule discovered Tyvek for her fashion designs, a paper material that would be stable enough for dresses when glued together in layers. Its water-resistance and durability fit to the need of a stability but vivid feeling that the dress should communicate. One dress takes about eight hours to complete and is using up to 3㎡ of material. The printed graphic is enhancing the tessellation of the pattern and gives the dresses its unique expression. Jule refined the knitting pattern in many test mockups until she realized that putting the folds closer together in the end is the key for an ideal fit.
